Dearie is on deployment again. Plus its sch exams now and my papers have yet to come in. Thus got abit of time to blog now.

We have recently completed our marriage prep course. I must say that most of the issues that we discussed are things which we actually know. But bringing them out and going deeper into them are quite insightful to us. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. It should not be treated so lightly and taken for granted. With the evering raising no. of divorce, how many ppl actually think this way? If you want others to love you, u muz learn to love others as well. You wont want to see your partner suffer rite? Love is a mutual thing.

Our ROM is drawing near. Getting alil excited. But I seriously nd to slim down!!!

wedding shopping! :D

spent the whole day looking for our wedding bands. We din noe that customisation of wedding bands tk 3 mths! Plus both dearie and i have small ring sizes. I m a size 6! they dun even carry that size in the shop. thus we were only left with simple designs to choose from. Cos rings with simpple designs can be altered to fit out finger size. Ppl usually take one yr to find the ring they want and we did it in one day. not much of a choice, cos we nd our wedding bands 2 mths later. 1st stop was sookee. Not impressive. then went to Love and Co. the designs were so so lah. anyw all their rings nd 3 mths to make. so tat is out of qn. our next stop was goldheart. looked at various selections. Dearie set eyes on the celestial collection. initially i thot it looked abit chunky one my finger. But after a while, it actually looked quite sofisticated n nice. simple but elegant and timeless. we din buy that one the spot thou. we continue to go to lee hwa. but in the end, we still decided on the celestial one. so now both my engagement ring and wedding band are from the celestial collection!

after we have shopped for our wedding bands, dearie n i met up with sf and lp for our ktv session. it was fun and we had supper after that. reaching home at ard 2.30 am. haven had such a nice meet up for soooo long! really miss the korea holi we had 3 yrs ago :D

Feeling Blissful

Work ended rather late ytd due to meeting, but seeing Dearie when I stepped out of the office door made my day perfect! Dearie ended work earlier ytd and he gave me a pleasant surprise by coming to fetch me without me knowing! He parked his car right in front of the door step and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him! Dearie brought me to have an early V day celebration and a bouquet of flowers was already in the car when Dearie came to fetch me. Girls love pleasant surprises and seeing Dearie after a tiring day at work is the best reward ever! Love Dearie Lots!!!!!

Great time spent!

Drove to Orchard Rd to change the t-shirt sizes for those Polo T i bought for Dearie for CNY. We then decided to proceed to Fort Canning since its near Orchard Rd vincinity. We ended up paying ERP twice while trying to avoid 1 ERP at first. Lesson leant: 1) dun try to avoid if unsure 2) Dun go to fort canning on sat if u r driving.

So tat was last weekend. This weekend, we went to City Hall to look at the bridal suite and find out more about the wedding package. After meeting up with the wedding planner, we stayed at the hotel for a while for a cup of coffee and tea.

A simple cup of coffee came with so much details! I like the sugar stick the most! But I melted it in the coffee b4 i took its pic. The greenish think was a half eaten green tea choco. Dearie likes it alot, but I find it too sweet for me.

Overall, we like the ambience of that hotel :D that shall be our choice :D

simple pleasures in life

Dearie is on deployment again. the duration this time rd is 5 days. Wonder how's the sea state now as the weather has been rainy recently. Really cant wait for friday to come.

Given our working life, weekends are especially precious to us. We will spend watever time we have together and with a car now, it has been much easier as travelling time is shorter now. There no nd to go to shopping malls or exquisite and expensive places. Even lazying ard at the reservoir is quality time spent together. Sometimes there is no nd for much words. The presence of the special someone, being together, already speaks of everything. That's love. Much as a call everyday. Although there is nothing urgent or impt msg to convey, hearing the voice is already v comforting. That is priceless.

Today is only day 2. Bunnie will start to countdown soon! Miss Dearie lots!
